我2004年到澳洲讀大學，畢業後就一直在澳洲工作與生活至今。大學畢業後曾經在本地旅行社及銀行工作。2011年通過畢業生計畫進入了澳洲聯邦政府工作，至今已在許多不同的單位及職位上服務過。全職工作之餘我也兼職完成了數個學位及專業資格證書。

 

做為一位職涯教練，我曾經幫助超過百位公司裡的中階主管了解自己在領導及管理能力上的優勢以及可以進步的地方，也幫助各級員工探索並採取行動發展自己的職涯。此外，我也已幫助數十位私人客戶成功轉換職涯到公家或私人機關、升遷，以及找到適合自己理想與興趣的職涯方向包括創業。

 

我希望能幫助國際學生和新移民在澳洲找到適合自己的長期專業工作，發揮自身最大潛能以及成功融入澳洲的主流職場。我可以幫助客戶探索職涯上的興趣、目標與機會，能運用的資源，以及達到目標的路徑。在這個過程裡我使用引導的技巧幫助客戶找出思維中的盲點，評估職涯道路上不同的可能性，屏除無益的想法及行為，以及建立自信。

 

同時我也可以做為一名職涯顧問，提供關於澳洲職場的訊息給客戶，例如澳洲整體的就業市場、找工作的方式以及職場文化。此外，我可以運用自身在澳洲聯邦政府工作超過10年以及面試過超過上百位求職者的經驗幫助客戶準備澳洲公職及其他大型公司的工作申請及面試，以及做出職涯選擇。

 

I moved to Australia in 2004 for university and have been living and working here since. After graduation, I worked for a travel agency and a bank. In 2011, I joined the Australian Public Service through the Graduate Program and have worked in different teams and positions. In addition to my full-time job, I have completed a number of degrees and professional qualifications.

 

As a career coach, I have assisted over 100 middle managers to understand their strengths and areas for improvement in leadership and management skills, and helped employees at all levels explore and take action to progress their career. Furthermore, I have assisted tens of private clients in transitioning their career to public or private organisations, achieving a promotion, and finding a career pathway that aligns with their goals and interests including entrepreneurship.

 

I hope to help international students and new migrants find long-term and professional jobs in Australia, maximise their potential and successfully integrate into the mainstream Australian labour market. I help clients explore career interests, goals, and opportunities; resources available; and pathways to their goals. Throughout this process, I use coaching skills to help clients identify blind spots, assess different career possibilities, remove unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, and build confidence.

 

I can also be a career advisor and provide information about working in Australia, such as labour market information, job-seeking methods and workplace culture. Having worked in the Australian Public Service for more than 10 years and interviewed more than 100 job applicants, I can assist clients in preparing job applications and interviews with the Australian Public Service and other large organisations, and in making career choices.
